Golden star Ganesh is teamed with Mallu girl Bhavana of ‘Jackie’ fame to Kannadigas in ‘Romeo’ in the direction of PC Shekar. This is quite an interesting combination. PC Shekar gave a thriller in ‘Nayaka’ that was released in this year and the combination of Ganesh and Bhavana will be a pleasant treat in ‘Romeo’ a film with stylish love story. The angle of love before and after marriage is the crux of PC Shekar discovery.

‘Romeo’ is produced by Naveen and Ramesh Kumar. Naveen was the hero of ‘Nayaka’ with sizzler Ragini is now happy to be just producer of this film.

Shekar has planned the launch in the first week of August. Ganesh would have completed ‘Myna’ remake in Kannada by that time. Bhavana showing good ability in power star Puneeth Rajakumar ‘Jackie’ is also one of the heroines in ‘Vishnuvardhana’ with Kichcha Sudeep.

For ‘Romeo’ Arjun is the music director and Vaidhi handles the camera. Five years ago Shekar penned the story and he has rehashed to suit the present generation. He has done the screenplay besides directing the movie. The entire shoot will be in Bengaluru. Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila will be there as sidekicks.

‘Nayaka’ was not a big hit but at the same it was not a big bite says PC Shekar on his maiden venture in Kannada. The film was able to recover 80 percent of the investment made he says.
